General description Our aim is provide students the basics of Veterinary Toxicology that are useful in their profession. Specific objectives: Introduction to General Toxicology knowledge: Acute, Chronic and Remote Toxicity, Mutagenesis, Carcinogenic and Teratogenic compounds, Systemic Toxicity and repair mechanisms, mechanism action antidote; Toxic most common in the veterinary field: Toxic Plants, Pesticides, Inorganic Toxics , Toxins in food, Drug Toxicity

Laboratory practicals Asistencia obligada. Entrega de cuaderno de prácticas. Examen práctico. Hasta el 5 % de la nota final, siempre que se apruebe el examen final
Seminars Hasta el 5 % de la nota final, siempre que se apruebe el examen final
Objective multiple-choice tests Preguntas (50-60) con cuatro proposiciones, a elegir una. Es necesario superar el 60% de las preguntas para obtener un 5. 90 % de la nota final
Objective short-answer tests Se incluirán en el examen tipo test. La parte proporcional en el examen tipo test
Others Se requiere la superación de las pruebas de test para poder sumar la puntuación correspondiente a seminarios y prácticas de laboratorio
