General description The Biogeography is the science dealing with the distribution of species and biocenosis on the Earth as well as modifications and causes that may occur in the distribution areas. The student will learn and understand the characteristics of the biogeographic kingdoms recognized in the world as well as in more detail, the biogeographic units which have representation in Spain, the Balearic and Canary Islands. These subjects will provide the student with the knowledge and abilities to understand the vegetal landscape in addition to being able to manage, preserve and restore the plant communities in their respective biogeographic units.

Field work/trips Al evaluarse conjuntamente con las sesiones magistrales, tendrán un valor numérico correspondiente al que proceda en relación al total de la evaluación anteriormente citada.
Seminars 2,5 puntos (25%) de la nota total
Assignments 1,5 puntos (15% de la nota total)
Lecture 6 puntos (60 % del valor total).
Es necesario tener al menos 3 puntos en este apartado para poder computar las evaluaciones del resto de actividades
