COMMUNICATIVE SKILLS | PRAGMATIC SKILLS - Understanding and reacting in context (shopping, public transport, accommodation, French class, etc.). - Defending one’s point of view. - Expressing oneself orally and continuously. - Capturing the attention of one’s audience. - Developing active listening. SOCIOLINGUISTIC SKILLS - Knowing how to adapt one’s speech according to the interlocutor and the context (individual/large group/language level/informal context/formal context). - Establishing a connection with one’s interlocutor (greetings, politeness, gratitude, asking for information, clarification, etc.) - Being able to have a simple conversation (answering questions from one’s interlocutor, presenting a simple topic) - Knowing a part of Francophone culture. LINGUISTIC SKILLS - Being able to introduce oneself, greet and talk about oneself (one’s past, present, future plans) - Knowing how to describe simply the functioning of a company. - Expressing the qualities of a product/company/production chain. - Engaging in conversation about simple topics (public transport, shopping, main activities in a city, company, personal information, etc.). - Asking for clarifications on a topic. |
INDIVIDUAL SKILLS | KNOWLEDGE - Developing knowledges about Francophonie (Francophone cities and companies) - Introducing Francophone companies. - Understanding how companies operate (hiring process, types of companies, marketing, etc. Some topics will be chosen in class.) - Understanding and creating an advertising poster. - Creating a promotional video. KNOW-HOW - Knowing how to ask questions to seek clarification. - Being able to express oneself simply in French in front of an audience (small or large). - Knowing how to write a short text without using AI. - Sending emails in French (greetings and body text).
