General description | In the current economic period, competitive advantage of firms lie, more and more, in the abilities of employees more than in their physical assets or financial resources, because the provide strategic value to the firm. Then, it is a core factor to know the different keys to obtain an excellent human resources management so as to lead the behavior of employees to the achievement of firms´ goals. To achieve this all it is required to have basic knowledge about motivation, communication and leadership in the firm and, in turn, other matters of special relevance in the current globalized environment as innovation and knowledge, which are sources to obtain a sustainable competitive advantage. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Assignments | Students will have to present/present a work about a specific research study that allows them to obtain deeper knowledge about the topic of the subject. This study will be chosen by themselves throughout the subject with the consent of the tutor. | 20% | |
Case study | Continuous evaluation that will take into account the active participation and attitude of the student in the resolution of the cases raised. The quality of the solutions and recommendations presented will also be assessed, as well as the student's ability to defend and reason their arguments and debate and criticize with respect, when appropriate, those of their classmates. |
