"To provide the student a series of concepts on toxicology, deontology, legal medicine and veterinary legislation, as well as their applications to analysis and synthesis of facts, judgements and assessments.
Toxicology: concept and introduction. Toxicology as a science. Toxicokinetics and toxicodynamics. Toxicity, mutagenicity, carcinogenicity and teratogenicity tests. Environmental toxicology, heavy metals, pesticides and vegetal toxicology. Toxic residues toxicology. Biotoxins. Introduction to alimentary toxicology.
