| General description |
In this subject, general lesions already seen in General Pathology (degenerative changes, circulatory disturbances, inflammations, growth disturbances, neoplasia, immunopathology) are examined according to the different organic systems and their relationship with different diseases. The particularities showed by the lesions among the several animals species, the differential diagnosis and the causes that provoke such lesions, are also studied. Students have also the opportunity to be trained in pathological diagnosis, by means of the study of necropsies from clinical cases and viscera, where lesions will be evaluated and interpreted. " |
