General description “The aims of the subject is to introduce the students of Veterinary Medicine in the history of the profession with a general scope of the most outstanding developments throughout the different phases of the history of mankind. Also to improve the knowledge of the veterinary students in acquiring information and analysis of the Veterinary Medicine as a scientific and professional science, with special emphasis of the steps from the Middle Age to the present time trying to integrate the extension and limits of the different disciplines of the Veterinary curriculum”.

Description
The student will be able to consult, at any time, any questions that arise during the course, as well as data related to the history of veterinary medicine existing in the corresponding archives, especially those of the Leonese Association of Veterinary History.
