  Description
Seminars The students, guided by the professor, will learn notions of accounting, investment planning, linear programming, marketing and communication in relation to livestock companies, animal clinics and other veterinary activities by solving practical cases using multimedia presentations. The duration of each of the seminars will be two hours
Assignments Students will carry out work on some aspect related to the subject (technical-economic management or marketing of a livestock farm, animal clinic or other veterinary company).
Personal tuition Individual tutorships will be carried out in person through personalized attention in the teacher's office after having previously made the appointment. It is also possible through the institutional Moodle platform, either directly with the teacher or through the subject forums.
Practicals using information and communication technologies (ICTs) in computer rooms The students, guided by the professor, will learn technical-economic management tools for livestock farms, animal clinics and other veterinary companies through the use of spreadsheets, databases and technical-economic management computer programs (in the computer classroom) in veterinary companies. The duration of each of the practices will be two hours
Lecture The professors will present the theoretical contents of the subject, with the support of multimedia presentations.

Other comments and second call

During the evaluation tests, it will not be possible to use printed materials or electronic resources that facilitate communication (tablets, computers, watches, transmitters, etc.), except in those tests that, under the direction of the teachers, require the use of a calculator. Therefore, they must be out of reach of the students during the test. In case of non-compliance, the exam will be withdrawn and graded as failed ("Guidelines for action in cases of plagiarism, copying or fraud in exams or evaluation tests." Approved by the Permanent Commission of the Government Council on 29 /01/2015). 

 

Ordinary call: in order to add the percentage corresponding to the seminars, work and practical tests to the final grade, it is necessary to achieve a 4 in both parts of the mixed test.

  

Second call: those students who do not pass the subject in the ordinary period will be able to take a new mixed test in the extraordinary call, which will represent the same percentage of the final grade (55%), complementing the rest from the previous grades obtained. at work and seminars (20%) and practical tests (25%).
