General description	The main goal of this course is to present a general view of the field of the genetic toxicoloy, with special attention paid to the mechanisms of genotoxicity, the systems used to detect mutagenic agents and the evaluation of human risks. The contents can be summarized in the following topics: Study of the nature of, and changes in, the genetic material; mutation-causing processes; physical and chemical agents; effects and occurrence in humans; techniques for evaluating mutagenic effects. "
