Other comments and second call | |||
1. BEHAVIOUR IN THE CLASSROOM: During the course, the student must avoid undesirable behaviours that can lead to be expelled from the activities. A few examples of such undesirable behaviours are violent, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, unhygienic behaviours, unappropriated use of electronic devices and private chatting. In particular, unauthorized recordings are forbidden.
2. BEHAVIOUR IN THE EXAM: The possession and use of materials that are not explicitly approved for the exams are forbidden. In general, the allowed materials are pens, pencils and rubbers. Specifically, the possession and use of notes, books, binders and electronic devices are forbidden. Should the student not comply with these rules, he or she will be immediately expelled and will fail the exam. Moreover, the general guidelines of the Universidad de León in cases of plagiarism and fraud will be applied. These guidelines can be also applied in case that the teacher detects plagiarism or fraud during the correction of exams or assignments.
3. EVALUATION: Spelling mistakes in practical assignments and exams will be taken into account at the evaluation. If the teacher considers that one or several assignments or exams have been carried out in an outstanding manner, the final grade of the student can be increased. If the teacher considers that one or several assignments or exams have been carried out in a very deficient manner, or not submitted, the final grade can be decreased.
If any of the mistakes in any assignment or exam is a conceptual crucial mistake, the final grade can be 0.0. To pass the course, the student will need to obtain a minimum grade on the theoretical and practical parts of the course. This minimum grade will be 4.0 if no other consideration is made during the development of the course. The student that cannot attend the exams of the theoretical part on their realization days has the option to take a substitute exam during the evaluation period of the first call. To do that, he or she must apply for it by presenting proof of a justified reason and he or she will be able to take the exam once the teacher has agreed with it.
4. SECOND CALL: One or several exams will be carried out. The practical part can’t be retaken and the student will keep the grade obtained on the first call. The theoretical exam in the second call will comprehend the totality of the course. To pass the course, the student will need to obtain a minimum grade on the theoretical part. This minimum grade will be 4.0 if no other consideration is made during the development of the course.
5. OTHER CONSIDERATIONS: Grades of assignments of previous years regarding the practical part won’t be preserved. The main channel to communicate with the teacher will be presential, which means during the class and tutorials. |
