General description The course aims at studying different bioinformatic tools for sequence analysis of nucleic acids and proteins. It will focus on finding sequences and other information in the public databases over the Internet, as well as the use of tools for sequence analysis and alignment, gene prediction and phylogenetic reconstruction.
