General description | The course presents an approach to the use of mathematical models in biotechnology along with the tools engaged in the optimization of biotechnological processes from the start-up phase of a project. It will also be studied the technical and economic feasibility of the project, the environmental management systems applicable to this type of industry as well as the security protocols. Likewise, students will study particular cases of application of microorganisms for the production of specific compounds on an industrial scale, the development of biosensors and environmental applications | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
