General description This subject offers an update of the different applications of animal transgenesis with particular reference to biopharming, xenotransplantation, models of human disease, disease resistance and aspects related to animal production. It also focuses on the main current uses of animal cloning.

Lecture 60% de la calificación final. Para superar este apartado en la 1ª convocatoria ordinaria es necesario aprobar tanto la evaluación continua como el examen final y obtener un mínimo de 30 puntos sobre 60.
Laboratory practicals 10% de la calificación final. Para superar este apartado es necesario obtener un mínimo de 5 puntos sobre el total de 10.
Tutorship of group 30% de la calificación final. Para superar este apartado es necesario obtener un mínimo de 15 puntos sobre el total de 30.
