General description The syllabus of this course will be divides into two blocks. The objectives of the first blok are: a) to explain the relevance of logic and argumentation in the legal context; b) to study the relationship between logilc and argumentation; c) to analyze the role of logil and argumentation and application of law; and d) to show some of the arguments that have been traditionally used in a legal context. In addition, this course will algo analyze some of the most relevant theories of legal argumentation. The second block is a workshop on analysis of legal reasoning. In this block, a model of legal reasoning that will help in rebuilding the motive of judgments will be proposed. Additionally, criteria that will guide a proper argumentation will be presente. For both blocks, legal reasoning will be the main model of argumentation.
