Language
- To provide for the systematic development of the students' English language skills through the use of a wide range of texts and activities designed to meet the students' needs and interests, and through the provision of the necessary examination practice material in various formats.
- To encourage the students throughout the course to draw on their individual experience and linguistic resources.
- To help them to become effective learners and take on responsibility for their own learning.
Literature:
- To introduce the students to the study of English Literature.
- To develop their literary competence and their ability to enjoy literary texts in a second language.

Objetivos

Language

Metodologías

The task-based and process-based teaching approach, which will require the students' active participation and collaboration throughout the course, will be learner-centred and communicative. The materials include a textbook and suggested material for individual practice (see below) and a wide range of supplementary materials (including authentic materials and examination practice materials), digital, printed and recorded, which will be made available during the course.

Bloque Tema
The syllabus is a negotiated one which takes into account the learners' linguistic, cultural and learning needs, their interests and their expectations. It involves the integration of literature and all four language skills as well as grammar and vocabulary in the development of the learners' communicative ability in terms of
linguistic competence,
socio-linguistic competence,
discourse competence,
strategic competence,
socio-cultural competence
and social competence.
