Transcription systems. 4. ENGLISH VOWELS AND DIPHTHONGS. 4.1. The Cardinal Vowel Scale. 4.2. English vowels. 4.3. Vocalic sequences: diphthongs. 5. ENGLISH CONSONANTS. 5.1. English consonants. 5.2. Phonological rules for English allophones. 5.3. Phonation processes (voicing, aspiration, devoicing...)."

FINAL EXAM:

1. Written exam (theory+practice): 70% (35%+35%).

2. Oral exam: 30%.

Only those students who pass the written exam (minimum required: 35%) will be admitted to the oral exam.
