"Final written examination in English, based upon class notes, class work and prescribed set readings and multimedia activities. Unclear organisation of contents and arguments, poor inaccurate expression (morphosyntax, vocabulary, spelling) and messy appearance and presentation will imply deductions of up to 15% off the final mark. Students attending classes regularly (over 90%) will get a continuous assessment mark added to the mark obtained in the exam provided: (a) this mark is over 45% of the total amount of attainable points and (b) their participation and class work show adequate progress. Collective feed-back in practical sessions, and individual feedback on assignments will be provided throughout the year. " "
