General description	Conceived as an introduction to the Sociolinguistics, the subjet tries to approach the student to the study object, the theoretical and practical methods and problems related to the social dimension of the language in its multiple aspects. The main theoretical and methodologic trends of the sociolingüístic investigation (Sociolingüístics, Sociology of Language and Ethnography of the Communication) will appear, dedicating greater attention to the study of the language variation. "
