General description	In this subject we try to study the principal writers of the Spanish Literature of the 17th century and their works in the European context of the Baroque’s culture and the decadence of the Spanish Empire. So, we try to study the poetical ingenious style and its cultist culmination, the synthesis of the books of fiction and the born of the modern novel, the professionalization of the dramatic elements, the creation of the new comedy and its development in the courtly theatre.
