General description THE CONTENTS OF THIS COURSE INTEND TO COVER THE SO-CALLED AMERICAN LITERATURES OF MINORITY GROUPS WHICH ARE OFTEN FORGOTTEN AND THEREFORE, SILENCED IN GENERAL AMERICAN LITERATURE SYLLABI. THUS, NATIVE AMERICAN, CHICANO/A AND ASIAN-AMERICAN AND OTHER SPANISH SPEAKING MINORITIES FIND A VOICE AND A RELEVANT SPACE WITHIN THIS COURSE.
