Methodologies |
Description | |
Problem solving, classroom exercises | The first two units will have three face-to-face hours of practice. The third unit will have four hours. The practices will consist of creating bibliographic records and choosing the access points and control of the form of the headings. |
Practicals using information and communication technologies (ICTs) in computer rooms | There will be practical sessions in the computer lab for searches in catalogs of authorities that allow the student to observe the connection between the bibliographic catalog and the catalog of authorities and assess the consistency of the standardization of the access points. |
Field work/trips | The technical process units of the university library and the public library might be visited to observe how the tasks of control of the access points are carried out. |
Tutorship of group | At least 5 hours will be devoted to attending students in groups. The hours dedicated to this purpose will be divided into ten half-hour tutorials. Attendance to these tutorials will serve to guide the student in the learning tasks and monitor the proposed tasks. Apart from these hours, the personalized attention that each student requires will be carried out at the time established for this purpose in person and, likewise, through the forums and email. |
Other methodologies | In addition to the 30 hours of face-to-face teaching, there will be 30 hours for teacher-student interaction through the Moodle platform (forums, chats, etc.) |
Lecture | Each one of the three didactic units will begin with a theoretical master class of one hour. The first two modules will have two hours of presentations. In these theoretical sessions developed in the classroom, the fundamental contents of the units will be exposed. Students will have the theoretical materials on the platform. |
