General description The subject addresses the standardization of access points or entries that allow to locate documents in the catalogs. It will focus mainly on the choice of access points of personal authors, corporate authors, titles and series, and in establishing their respective consistent forms.

Methodologies   ::  
  Description
There will be activities of a practical nature to consolidate the contents of the course and develop transversal skills. They will be turned it on the platform, corrected by the instructor and discussed in virtual tutorials. Self-assessment questionnaires by thematic units might allow evaluating the progress of the students and provide feedback to the students.
The student will have the teaching materials prepared by the instructor for each of the units.
Forums of discussion Discussion forums will be used as a tool for continuous monitoring of the proposed activities, a dynamic way for the inclusion of questions, reflections, etc.
Personal tuition Individual tutorials by email will complement by the open forum in platform.
Lecture A master session will be given to present the contents of the units

 
Description
There will be virtual tutorials. . Attendance to these tutorials will serve to guide students in the learning tasks and monitor the proposed tasks. When needed, students will also have personalized attention within established tutorial hours.

  Description Qualification
The questionnaires and practices provided to the student will be evaluated. 40%
Forums of discussion Participation in the discussion forums will be evaluated. 10%
Mixed tests The final exam, including theory and practice, will be evaluated. 50%
 
Other comments and second call

To pass the course, it is an essential requirement to pass both the continuous evaluation and the final exam.

 

In the case of the second call, only the final exam will be graded and it will also be necessary to pass the theory and practice.
