General description The subject aims to develop skills in handling information management systems. It provides the technical background required to store, structure, manage and share information effectively. It gives a thorough understanding to create and examine assessment tools used to determine automation needs for a library, archive or information centre. The skills acquired are crucial to deal with a highly technological work environment
