General description Analyzing product as far as first of marketing-mix variables. Studying different product categories and kinds both from a theoretical and a practical perspective. Special focus on new products development, diffusion and adoption processes. So special focus on industrial products category. Basic questions on product policy (product: concept and classification; fundamental strategies on product policy; the product portfolio; the product life cycle), new products development, diffusion and adoption (new products development process, new products diffusion process, new products adoption process), product policy in industrial markets (basic questions on product policy in industrial markets; research and development of new products in industrial markets).
