"Strengthening basic concepts and knowledge of both analog and digital electronics, so as to provide students with the tools needed to undertake successfully the various components of the specialism. An ability to interpret, analyse and carry out measurements on simple electronic circuits, being aware of the problems of designing them.
Contents.- Introduction to semiconductors. Rectification. Filters. Stabilization. Circuits with diodes. Bipolar junction transistors (BJT). Field effect transistors (FET). Amplification. Feedback. Operational amplifiers. Signal generators. Logical functions. Numbering and coding systems. Combinatorial systems. Arithmetic systems. Sequential systems." " |
