General description "To know the characteristics, fundamentally mechanic-resistant characteristics, of metallic and concrete materials. To know and utilise properly the calculus methods to dimension resistant sections made of steel and/or mass, reinforced and pre-stressed concrete. Steel structures. Basis of calculus. Structural typologies. Parts subjected to compression. Parts obtained by traction. Parts solicited by torsion. Parts solicited by flexion (linear and non-linear theories). Unions. Supports and basis. Constructive details. Industrial naves. Other industrial constructions. Mass, reinforced and pre-stressed concrete structures. Limit states. Actions. Materials. Structural analysis. Section analysis. Exhaustion ultimate limit state by normal solicitations. Ultimate limit states by tangential tensions. Ultimate limit state of bend, anchoring, adherence, fissure and deformation. Dimensioning criteria. Laying of foundations and contention elements. Quality control. Concrete pathology. Other constructive elements: shell, plates, etc." "
