"Knowledge of the basic procedures of part manufacture: melting and castings, metal cutting, plastic deformation and soldering. Conventional and advanced manufacture techniques: numerical control, industrial robots, CAD/CAM, introduction to CIM. Flexible manufacture systems.
Meaning of manufacture engineering. Obtaining of materials: steel and aluminium. Analysis of the part manufacture basic processes: melting and castings, metal cutting, plastic deformation and soldering.. Quality control: instruments and methods.
