General description	This area of knowledge is concerned primarly with the behaviour and response of metals to applied forces. Mechanical fundamentals are presented, the concepts of combined stress and strain are reviewed. The theories of yielding and plasticity are also presented.The plastic forming of metals for the creation of useful shapes which includes processes like foging, rolling of metals, extrusion, drawing and sheet metal forming are analyzed from mechanical metallurgy. "
