General description This course aims to introduce some initial notions of power systems with multi-phase study of the systems with special emphasis on the systems three-phase balanced and unbalanced. In the second part of the course will be studied electrical machines, static and rotary. We begin by studying the processors to continue with the rest of rotating electrical machines, generators and motors, AC and DC. On each machine will study its constitution, principles of operation, their equivalent circuits, performance characteristics and finally their applications.
