Block II: GROUND AND EMBARKED SYSTEMS TO ASSIST AIR TRAFFIC Topic 1: AIR SURVEILLANCE SENSORS.
Primary surveillance radar. Secondary surveillance radar. Multilateration systems. ADS-B. ADS-C.

Topic 2: SHIPPED ALERT AND ANTI-COLLISION SYSTEMS (ACAS/TCAS).
Types of ACAS. TCAS versions. Traffic alerts and resolution. Conflict resolution. Visual and auditory indicators in the cockpit. Anti-garbling techniques applied to TCAS.
