General description Subject: Graphic Design. Character: Compulsory. -It complements the study of the systems of representation of the space studied in the subject of Graphic Expression I, developing the representative criteria in the appropriate system. -Theoretical and practical knowledge of standardisation and conventionalisms used by engineering professionals in technical drawings is extended. -Students are introduced to the use of CAD programmes for their use as a working tool in their professional work. -The course is divided into theoretical and practical classes. This will be taught, fundamentally, with visual infographic means in accordance with new technologies. -A high practical component, carrying out exercises related to the subject matter so that the student is able to integrate theory with applications. -To consolidate the development of the sense of spatial creativity in industrial shapes and volumes initiated in the subject Graphic Expression I; it is therefore interrelated with the entire development of the engineering profession. -Its interest lies mainly in industrial design and in the acquisition of competences for the development of the free profession of the engineer. It is also essential in interpretative functions, installations and manufacturing processes and the assembly of installations, both traditional and computer-aided manufacturing.
