Description
Problem solving, classroom exercises The teacher will dedicate some hours to fix the knowledge through problem and exercices resolution in B1 groups. Some problems will be solved by the teacher and others will be proposed for student solving.
Laboratory practicals In B3 group sessions in labs, the teacher will guide the students in the knowledge about safety standards and the manner of using the equipment and instruments in a production facility. During development of these practices, a work will be proposed to the students related to the practices. This work will have a relative weight in the subject final calification. The presence in these practical classes is compulsory.
Seminars
Assignments
Lecture The teacher will use lecture classes to transmit to the students the fundamental concepts of the subject, identifying clearly the objectives of each chapter/theme and making clear the expected learning. During these classes, the teacher will use slides that will be left through agora online platform to the students previously to the class. It is pretended that the student be not a simple observator, so that the teacher will ask some questions and request for answers in order to improve the participation of students.

 Description Qualification
Laboratory practicals The presence at labs is object of evaluation, since they are compulsory. Also, the practical will be evaluated through a online questionary at the end of the class. 15%
Assignments 25%
Objective short-answer tests In order to evaluate the acquired theorical knowledge, two exams will be made during the semester. The questions can be related to contents explained at lecture classes or practical classes. 40%
Practical tests These practical tests will consist in problem resolution exams related to the practicals done in labs or problems resolved in the class.
These exams will be done at classroom.

Other comments and second call

CONDITIONS for passing the subject in the first call (over 100 points):

a) Achieve 50 o more points adding all parts , and

b) Get 10 o more points in each exam of Objective short-answer tests, and

c) Get 5 o more points in each exam of Practical tests, and

d) Assist to labs and pass the evaluation of Laboratory practicals (it is necessary to achieve a 50% of the grade in each one).

The student who does not achieve some of these conditions will go to the second call and will repeat the failed parts.

The final grade for these students who do not achieve the conditions for passing the first call will be the sum of the grades of Objective short-answer tests and Practical tests. The rest of grades will be not added.

CONDITIONS for passing the subject in the second call (over 100 points):

The criteria will be exactly the same as the ones in the first call, that is:

a) Achieve 50 o more points adding all parts , and

b) Get 10 o more points in each exam of Objective short-answer tests, and

c) Get 5 o more points in each exam of Practical tests, and

d) Pass the Laboratory practicals exam (it is necessary to achieve a 50% of the grade in each one).

The student who do not assist to Laboratory practicals during the subject, will do an exam for passing them.
