General description | This course is oriented to the facilities in the building from the point of view of providing comfort and safety. They study heating, cooling and fire protection systems. The course begins by studying the different fuels: solid, liquid and gaseous. Its properties as fuel, that is, calorific value, transport, storage, etc. Combustion and performance are studied, as well as the emission of gases and products of combustion. Other forms of energy generation are studied: biomass, aerothermal and geothermal. The heating systems, types of installations are studied, by radiator, fan coil, single-tube, double-tube system, etc. The thermal loads of a room in winter are calculated. | |||||||||||||||||||||
