| Review of the basic grammatical skills. Comprehending and expressing conditions and events ( use of the future tense). Descibing objets (shape, measurements and other properties), componenets and processes (cause and effect, sequence of events). Communicating information and instructions from person to person. Explanations: comparing and contrasting. Learning vocabulary: industrial metals (iron, boron, steel, aluminiu,. E.g.), common machine components, common engineering materials (concrete, brick, glass, plastics, clay). Writing technical reports, preparing curricula vitae. Reading and answering job advertisements, filling job applications and formal letter conventions. |
