General description In this subjet in subjects 1 and 2 the basic theoretical concepts related to the power resources settle down such as the coal, petroleum, natural gas, and the following renewable energies: geothermal energy, thermal solar energy, photovoltaic solar energy, energy of the biomass, Aeolian energy, and oceanic energy. Also the global consumptions of energy and their distribution between the different sectors from the industry are considered. In subject 3 the elements and systems of transformation of energy study establishing in the first place the theoretical concepts on the combustion, the characteristics of fuels, and the equipment of thermal generation to come to study the systems of co-generation, storage and transport of energy. In subject 4 the critical factors are analyzed that take part in the management of the energy, is created and it is developed to the concept of power project and the organization of the management system. Also the implantation of the management system studies and the process for the accomplishment of a power audit in an industry is determined, to finalize with the calculation of the economic yield of an investment, making an example of power project: co-generation. In subject 5 the environmental impact is analyzed associate to the energy consumption, classifying the contamination sources, studying the forms of environmental impact, the effect conservatory, and the ozone layer, laying the the foundations for the accomplishment of the studies of environmental impact in power power stations and in agreement with the effective legislation to establish the measures to adopt. In subject 6 the power planning at national and regional level studies. In subject 7 the anticipated of the demand of energy is considered growth, the relation between energy and growth and the perspective of future of the power technologies, analyzing the general tendencies to the improvement of the efficiency in the production, the transport and the consumption and the future tendencies in transforming equipment, studying the phases of development (to short, half and long term) along with its problematic in the development and application of the new technologies. Next the hybrid motor, the magnetic levitation, and the fuel batteries appear like examples of new technologies. In subject 8 the theoretical concepts settle down on the relation between energy and exergía, power and power balance and termoeconómicos analyses to elements and systems of power transformation of thermal power stations. "
