General description	The sustainable management of forest ecosystems summarizes the knowledge of a broad number of sciences with the thecnical ability to apply those management strategies in the field. The subject of Silviculture aims to teach the relevant theoretical and methodological information needed to apply those strategies. The field work will provide the students with the ability to identify in real cases the present forest dynamics and to evaluate which management treatments, if any, should be done. "
