SECTION I. | The course primarily involves the integration of all four skills as well as grammar and vocabulary in the development of students' communicative ability in terms of linguistic competence, socio-linguistic competence, discourse competence, strategic competence, socio-cultural competence and social competence. In learning how to teach young learners the course content includes: skills development; developing confidence and motivation; grammar in the young learner classroom; reading with young learners; developing writing skills; multiple-choice tasks; using dictionaries; developing listening skills; following instructions; developing speaking skills; developing pronunciation. |
