General description Awareness of the scientific, paedagogical, technical anda professional standards required for teaching languages at the infants’school level, together with knowledge of the various theories, models and scientific proposals than give a meaning and a foundation for this teaching in the period between 0 and six years of age. Linguistics and its context. Communication and language. Biological and neuro-physiological bases of language. Commnicative and cognitive contexts. Language acquisition: factor, theories and stages. The pronological, semantic, morpho-syntactic and pragmatic components: activities intended to develop them.
