General description This subject is developed with the purpose that students learn the conceptual and methodological bases that support the development of the professional and psychosocial guidance. In this way, we seek to deepen in their knowledge and give relevance to personal, social and environmental factors that affecting of the development of vocational guidance. It is intended that students develop fundamental skills that enable him to assess the existing conceptual and methodological issues in order to help other people discover, enhance and develop their qualities and to face successfully the changes and transitions that happen in your personal and professional life. All this from a perspective of targeting global, comprehensive, preventive and inclusive in its multiple contexts of performance. Personal, environmental and professional facets are essential dimensions in the lives of people. Thus, vocational and psychosocial counseling is becoming increasingly important, especially in the current scene. Nowadays, people faced multiple transitions, changes and adaptations to various professional and personal contexts, they will require the development of skills and strategies for personal career management, for which, the actuations of guidance services will be valuable aids. This subject provides a consistent basis of learnings to promote and participate in guiding actions and draw educational pathways within the scope of the guidance. Besides, the subject open the way for future specializations in this field.
