General description This course will provide students with the knowledge and skills appropriate to: 1) identify factors that influence health or disease status of individuals, families and community; 2) incorporate scientific research and evidence-based practice in the field of public health and community nursing; 3) intervene in the areas of promotion, prevention and health education.
