Description | |
Laboratory practicals | Practical classroom sessions: Throughout the course, students will perform experimental activities (practices) in the corresponding laboratories under supervision. The professors will provide the bibliographic documentation, scripts, etc. required in each case. All this material will be available to the students in the institutional platform. The students will be responsible for their experiments, from the preparation of media and solutions, the performance of the experiments, data collection and discussion of the results, always under the supervision of the professor. The students must present a final report including all the experiment performed, written as a scientific work, which will be used by the professors to evaluate their work. Students will perform the experimental procedures accordint to the given protocols and following the guide of good practices for handling experimental animals and/or genetically manipulated microorganisms. The results obtained in each session will be discussed by the students and the professor, analyzing their importance and interest. Self-teaching activities: Analysis of relevant scientific articles on current topics related to the subject. Preparation of written reports, oral presentations or seminars on experimental or bibliographical work. Autonomous tasks online or in a computer classroom. |
Tutorship of group | Group tutorials Tutorials could be individual or have a group nature to be arranged between the teacher and the students. |
Lecture | Presentation and discussion of the contents of the subjects. Introduction of the theoretical concepts necessary for the understanding and realization of the practices. |
